Timms Harley-Davidson® of Anderson, is looking for a Motorcycle technician interested in growing with our company. Here at Timms we are passionate about motorcycles, the customer experience and the community in which we live, service, and ride. Our goal is to create long-lasting relationships by offering the best customer experience. This goal is accomplished by employing well-trained and motivated sales and service staff and actively connecting with and giving back to the local community we serve!

Primary Responsibilities

Repair and maintenance of motorcycles.

Provide prompt, dependable, high quality, vehicle service to internal and external customers.

Work closely with the service writers and parts and sales departments.

Assist service writers with writing up work orders, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintain technical PHD and other qualification by completing any necessary training programs.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Master/Expect level HD® Technician or Advanced level HD® Technician with at least one year HD® dealership experience or equivalent work experience and continued training.

Certified Harley-Davidson technician® must be a graduate of Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) with a minimum of 3.2 GPA and good attendance.

Motorcycle endorsement; ability to test ride motorcycles after work is completed; clean driving record.

Physical Demands

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Ability to use both hands; frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift.

Frequently requires the ability to balance and push a motorcycle

Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
