Milwaukee-Eight® 131 Screamin’ Eagle® V-Twin
The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® RR uses the most powerful Milwaukee-Eight® engine ever installed in a Harley-Davidson® production model. The Screamin’ Eagle® 131 V-Twin delivers 153 horsepower and 150 ft-lb of torque, maintaining output up to a 6,500 rpm redline. CNC-ported heads improve airflow, the SE8-550 camshaft provides precise timing, and Screamin’ Eagle® internal components maintain strength under stress. This configuration was developed from the same architecture used in the Harley-Davidson® Factory Race Team.
Racing-Derived Six-Speed Transmission
To handle the demands of high-output riding, the motorcycle is equipped with the Screamin’ Eagle® Racing King 6 Transmission. Shot-peened gears and shafts improve strength and longevity, while back-cut shift dogs ensure secure engagement even during rapid, aggressive gear changes. This gearbox is specifically engineered to withstand the punishment of race-speed conditions while maintaining consistent shifting performance.
Precision Intake and Exhaust Systems
A 68 mm throttle body and CNC-machined aluminum intake manifold deliver smoother airflow and reduced weight. The Screamin’ Eagle® High Flow air filter, washable and reusable, supports consistent intake efficiency with an assertive intake hiss. Partnered with this system is a full titanium Akrapovič exhaust co-developed with Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing. The 2-into-1 header pipes, carbon fiber shields, and titanium muffler reduce weight by more than 10 pounds compared to the standard Milwaukee-Eight® exhaust, improving overall efficiency while staying compliant in all 50 states.
Competition-Built Suspension
Race-spec Öhlins suspension systems provide improved agility and control. The 43mm inverted FGR fork and dual Screamin’ Eagle® Öhlins remote reservoir shocks raise ride height by two inches, increasing lean angles for sharper cornering. Handling precision is further refined through a billet aluminum swingarm, machined from a 220-pound block of 6061 aluminum to just 18 pounds. Together with gloss black cast aluminum wheels, this system reduces unsprung weight and maximizes suspension response in aggressive conditions.
MotoGP-Level Braking Systems
Brembo® GP4-RX CNC calipers with four 32 mm pistons combine with 320 mm T-Drive front rotors to deliver high-capacity stopping performance. This setup is designed to manage repeated heavy braking without loss of control or efficiency. A four-piston Brembo® rear caliper paired with a 300 mm rotor completes the system, ensuring balance and stability across the front and rear.
Ergonomic Control for Competitive Riding
Mid-mounted billet aluminum foot controls replace traditional touring footboards, reducing weight and providing improved clearance for lean angles. Shifting and braking input is optimized through this control position. The race-developed solo seat with pommel, created with Saddlemen®, raises the rider by one inch for improved mid-control ergonomics. Its rear bolster stabilizes the rider under acceleration, while the pommel assists with stability during braking, all within a carbon fiber structure that reduces weight.
Streamlined Aerodynamic Design
The motorcycle’s bodywork uses carbon fiber finished in Harley-Davidson® Racing Orange with contrasting black and white graphics. Gloss black cast aluminum wheels include a laser-etched CVO™ RR logo, underscoring its limited-production identity. Every design detail serves to reduce overall weight and sharpen aerodynamic performance, while exposed carbon fiber weave under a deep clear coat emphasizes its race-derived construction.
Configurable Ride Modes
Nine selectable ride modes allow the rider to adjust power delivery, ABS, traction control, and engine braking. Track Mode, developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing rider Kyle Wyman, sharpens response for competition-level conditions. Track Plus Mode reduces electronic aids further, allowing skilled riders to maintain full control. These modes are quickly accessed at the press of a button to match different riding environments.

Traction Control (TCS) reduces wheel slip during acceleration, while the Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS) helps prevent rear-wheel lock during abrupt downshifts. Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) secures the motorcycle on inclines until acceleration is applied, and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts the rider to changes in tire pressure.
Cornering-specific features further adapt these systems by adjusting brake force, traction management, and slip control based on lean angle.
